Service Description: This feature layer represents the road centerline network within the City of New Bern, symbolized by posted speed limit. Speed limit classifications are derived from field verification, traffic engineering orders, and official municipal records. Symbolization: Roads are rendered by posted speed limit category in miles per hour. Symbology is intended to support quick visual identification for traffic engineering and emergency response planning. Data Currency: This layer is updated a minimum of once per month. Updates may occur more frequently following traffic engineering orders, new road construction acceptance, or emergency speed limit changes.
