Job attachments can be managed for the chosen job in the Details panel on the Manage or Work page.
Add job attachments
Complete these steps to add job attachments:
Note:
If you don’t have sufficient privileges, you can't add attachments to jobs.
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Choose the job to which you want to add attachments in the job list on the Manage or Work page.
- In the Details panel, click the Attachments tab .
A list of job attachments appears in the Details panel. If new attachments don't appear in the list, click the Refresh Panel button .
Note:
The Attachments tab won't appear on the Details panel if you don’t have sufficient privileges.
- Click the Add Attachment button next to the name of the folder to which you want to add the attachment and choose one of the following options:
- Browse Local Files—Uploads a file and attaches it to the job
Note:
The maximum file size of each embedded attachment is determined by your feature layer.
- URL—Associates a file URL with the job
- Link—Associates a file or folder path or a document ID with the job
A confirmation message appears when the attachment is saved successfully.
- Browse Local Files—Uploads a file and attaches it to the job
View and download job attachments
Complete these steps to view and download job attachments:
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Choose the job that contains the attachments you want to view or download in the job list on the Manage or Work page.
- In the Details panel, click the Attachments tab .
A list of job attachments appears in the Details panel. If new attachments don't appear in the list, click the Refresh Panel button .
Note:
The Attachments tab won't appear on the Details panel if you don’t have sufficient privileges.
- Click the name of the attachment to view the attachment, download the attachment, or copy the attachment's file path or document ID.
Tip:
Hover over the Last Modified icon to view who last updated the attachment and the modification date.
Rename job attachments
Complete these steps to rename job attachments:
Note:
If you don’t have sufficient privileges, you can't rename job attachments.
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Choose the job that contains the attachment you want to rename in the job list on the Manage or Work page.
- In the Details panel, click the Attachments tab .
A list of job attachments appears in the Details panel. If new attachments don't appear in the list, click the Refresh Panel button .
Note:
The Attachments tab won't appear on the Details panel if you don’t have sufficient privileges.
- Hover over an attachment and click the Rename button to rename the attachment.
- Type a new name for the file in the text box and click the Confirm Name button to rename the file.
A confirmation message appears, indicating that the name was updated successfully.
Delete job attachments
Complete these steps to delete job attachments.
Note:
If you don’t have sufficient privileges, you can't delete job attachments.
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Choose the job that contains the attachments you want to delete in the job list on the Manage or Work page.
- In the Details panel, click the Attachments tab .
A list of job attachments appears in the Details panel. If new attachments don't appear in the list, click the Refresh Panel button .
Note:
The Attachments tab won't appear on the Details panel if you don’t have sufficient privileges.
- Hover over an attachment and click the Delete button to delete it.
The Delete Attachment dialog box appears.
Caution:
Deleted job attachments can't be recovered.
- Click Yes to delete the attachment or click No to cancel.
